The Geological Survey that was previously known as the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is a U.S. government research agency. Circum-Pacific Map (CP):
Multicolour maps with a scale of 1:10,000,000 for the Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, Southeast Pacific and Arctic and Antarctic quadrants, and 1:17,000,000 for the entire Pacific Basin. The sequence consists of maps of foundation, geographical, geodynamic, plate-tectonic, geological, tectonic, mineral and energy resources, as well as other maps of different types.
Coal Investigations (COAL/C-) Map:

Data Series (DS):
The Data Series is designed for printing in basic data sets, databases, and mobile or multimedia graphics using photos, computer programs and digital photographs.
General Interest Publication (GIP):
A wide range of subjects discussed concisely and explicitly in a variety of formats. The focus is on USGS activities, projects and tools, as well as scientific information of general public interest. The series includes a variety of media subjects including pamphlets, postcards, videos, teacher’s kits, CD / DVDs and bookmarks and interactive and motion graphics. The series includes various media. Earlier called “Publications of General Interest”.
Geophysical Investigations (GP) Map:
The results are shown mainly through aeromagnetic and (or) severe studies contours. The represented area can be a few square miles to a full-size country. A number of sheets or single sheets.
